Simple dal
(suitable for dinner)
1 1/2 cup masoor dal
1 tbsp jeera
1tsp haldi powder
... 1tsp chilli powder
Pinch garam masala powder
1 big onion(finely chop)
1 tbspn butter
Salt
Fresh coriander (finely chop)
1-Pressure cook dal with water n haldi.
2-In a heavy bottomed pan, heat butter, add jeera n saute .
3-Add onion n fry till almost golden brown...., now add garam masala powder, chilly powder n saute.
4-Then add cooked dal n finely chopped fresh coriander stems.
5-Adjust the thickens adding required water.
6-Add salt n churn well.
7-Garnish with fresh coriander..
Serve hot with basmathi rice.
