GARLIC-CHILLY RASAM




1/4 cup turdal
1 tomato finely chop
1 tbsp ghee
... few curry leaves
1tsp mustard seeds
4-5 crushed garlic
1tsp jeera powder
1tsp chilli powder
1/2tsp pepper powder
1/4tsp haldi powder
1tbsp tamarind pulp

Pressure cook dal wid tomatoes n haldi.keep aside.
heat ghee, add mustard,garlic n curry leaves.
add jeera powder,chilli powder n pepper powder.saute n sprinkle water if it is too dry.
add cooked dal-tomato n tamarind pulp. churn well.
bring to boil.
optional--can add hot ghee(1tsp) over the rasam finally.
