1 1/2 cup[160ml cup] heaped maida
4 fresh bread slices
1/2 cup thick sour curd
1/2 tsp baking powder[opt]
salt to taste
oil [to deep fry]
- Sieve together maida, salt and baking powder.
- Remove sides of the bread and dip each slice in water and squeeze out water immediately.
- Mash it well to smooth consistency.
- To this , add sour curd , flour and knead to smooth n stiff dough sprinkling water.
- Cover the dough and keep aside for 2 hours.
- Make even sized balls, dust with maida and roll out.
- Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
- Serve hot with chole or potato masala.
